This isn't a spectacular photo, but it was a spectacular sky. This shot was taken at sunset in Capitol Reef National Park, in Utah. However, I was facing the Henry Mountains, directly east--away from the setting sun behind me--when I took this shot. Clouds were partially blocking the setting sun, and dark streaks were visible across the entire wide sky, all the way to the eastern horizon. It was a beautiful mystery. It's possible that smoke drifting east from multiple forest fires burning in California helped to create the effect.
